This is what you get to see for driving 120 miles between towns.

I also met someone at a lunch counter who was driving to San Francico from Brooklyn on Route 50 that lives two blocks from my new address.

Where are all the people? Everything looks barren. It’s like a picture out of a Steinbeck novel.
